The Rainbow room is designed to teach Kindergarten through 3rd grade students how to adjust to the school environment. The children learn how to make goals for themselves. Some goals may include how to express feelings/emotions using words, how to handle anger, how to take turns, share, be honest and make friends. Social skills, manners and hygiene are also worked on. We work on classroom goals including time management, organizational skills, how to stay on task and have positive attitudes.
